The identity of this monumental portrait is obscured and perpetually unresolved. "YOU DESTROY ME / I DESTROY YOU" is scrawled in layers across the eyes and mouth of the sculpture, legibly, and in reverse. Although the identity of the model is nearly anonymous, the decaying mold of the piece adds an element of tension to this nihilistic cacophony.
