The first action. A point is the most finite form before it is carried or drawn into another direction, another dimension. At a point (as with materials in every other dimension) the quality and the integrity of the material is physical, and the concepts, observable. The intention of a point is not yet given a direction, as with a line.

In this website, point includes sketchbook material. Point is the initial, or most rudimentary, stage of any creative process. Images, no matter what the eventual form or medium all begin here. Here, images, dissolve, assemble, and transform. In the case of my own artwork, sketchbooks are the medium that most profoundly resonates with me. I was raised with sketchbooks and sketchbooks continue to provide me with insights and to provide me with an environment for realizing and trusting my most intimate friends. In the dimension of point, images often occur without any dependence on meaning or resolutio - they are complete in a pure and self-sustaining way.
